Can anyone help me remember this game?

It was a medieval RTS, where you had to attack castles. It had basic 3d graphics, and it is an older game. There wasn't a base building aspect on it, you only had to destroy the castle. It involves a map of Britain, where you had to expand and control territories. Other people would start with other territories. You couldn't zoom in on your troops at all, yet you can upgrade castles. It had ships and troops.

Can anyone tell me the name of the game?

It sounds kind of like Lord of the Realms.

Did you get to choose how to allocate citizens to things like quarries, forestry, and blacksmithing?

Was it turn based on the map with a form of real time combat?

I don't think LotR had ships, though.

Lords of the Realm was definitely one of my favorite series. I played the shit out of the second one. Mass archers baby.

Lords RTS battles were actually pretty damn strategic, with good micro you could seriously effect their outcomes and win vs crazy odds which was pretty neat.

Was LotR 3 any good? I used to play 2 a lot and I think I heard that 3 wasn't as good (like MoO 3).

By the way, I think the same music guy that did Lords of the Realms did Lords of Magic (a sick game that is still has an updated mod even today)
