This is a Victoria Sponge cake I made for my little sister, I promised to report, so I'm reporting.
Equal weight to the eggs in:
A 1:1 mix of self raising flower and wholemeal self raising flour
Two tablespoons of milk
Cream butter and sugar a lot, add the eggs one by one whilst beating, then add the flour and milk and keep beating till everything's combined.
Stick the mix in two tins then let it cook in a 170C oven for 20 mins.
Take it out the oven, let it cool after taking them out of the tins. Spread jam on the non curved side of one of the cakes then put them together flat side to flat side.
Sprinkle icing sugar
