Tomorrow afternoon I'm going to be in San Francisco for some volunteer thing for Mythbusters. I'm not exactly sure what the topic is about nor am I allowed to talk about it (as email states). I live in OC so I'm taking a bus up tonight.
I was wondering if any TL people live up there and can possibly let me hang around (use internet) maybe a night if I can't get a ride secured for the way back after the shooting (it's sort of ambiguous if it will be all done with). If not, I've got a 24/hr gym membership that I can utilize to store stuff and shower and hangout watching TV if I need to. Lucky for me the gym, bus depot, and the film location are all within a mile radius in north SF.
Anyway, I will arrive early in the morning tomorrow and will have a good 7-8 hours to kill, possibly will rent a bike and explore. What's good to see or do while I'm there?
I plan to to the GG bridge obv, haight street ameoba record store and the west beach area then ride back through that long ass park (lol nancy palosi street?).

everything in this thread is facts. I am here now, arrived by Greyhound bus around 7:31a, took a shower at the 24/hr active, which is as nice as the super sports in orange county. Walked to the bike shop and I don't have enough money for deposit, derp. So I'm gonna eat here at Mel's Diner and then catch a bus to the GG bridge.
PS- I stole my sister's laptop after I asked if I could use it and she said maybe. It's super effective!

I'll post a bunch of these pics and stories when I get back home. Funniest thing so far, I sat next to a nun who only spoke spanish on the bus. I ripped a loud fart and pointed to her. Jk, but she did fall asleep on my shoulder. And I saw a couple of stray orange and white srtiped kitties living at a stop somewhere in the middle of cali. I gave them water because no one probably ever thinks to do that.
