Fellow Teamliquidian. This is not going to be a feature worthy blog as I do not have enough time on my hands right now - I have been studying for so long that I just need to write about some of the recent events that happened and might be overseen and this is certainly one of them. I am one week late anyway.

The 29th Chaos Communication Congress (29C3) is an annual four-day conference
on technology,society and utopia.
The Congress offers lectures and workshops on a multitude of topics including (but not limited to)
information technology and generally a critical-creative attitude towards technology and the
discussion about the effects of technological advances on society.

Just reading through the How-To-Survive guide of the 29c3 makes me realize that if I am ever going to show up there (as if), I would leave all my electronic devices at home.
But I still like to be informed. I like to know about all the hacks that are out there, or even something obscure as the talk in "Time is NOT on your Side". After I finished the video I realized that I understood nothing and if I had to recite it I might as well draw a giraffe eating waffles. But hey. At least I know that someone somewhere somehow can gain access or read data or guess passwords just by measuring the milliseconds it takes for data to return, including countermeasures and counter-countermasures. I am always terribly intrigued by this sort of information, fully knowing that I will never be able to use it in any form or shape.
I wanted you to fully understand where I am coming from and how much I understand of all the technological talk so that we can finally get to the videos.
All of the podium talks have been uploaded and put into a playlist. I am truly sorry that I cannot talk about each of the videos as that would be very time consuming, just watch them yourself. If you are like me, ignore the tech and "hack" savvy one's and focus on those with political implications. And if you get to video 9, maybe you can tell me what she is talking about .. or better, read her MA thesis and tell me what she wrote in there. Much appreciated
Ignoring number 1 (introductions), you start with the 2nd video - always a pleasure to listen to Mr. Applebaum.
And if no one is going to watch any of the videos because all of you think "what the fuck is this shit, I dont even...", I can summarize the videos next saturday and you can choose the one's that sound interesting without having to go through them all .. cheerio.
