Break an article before TL did (MC MVP stuff)

Simply just kinda sad about the whole MC and MVP forfeiting article. I did a write up as soon as I saw they gave up their spots. I did digging into why they did, wrote the article, and posted the link on reddit. Not a single person gave two shits... Someone posts it on TL, gets 23k hits. I swear its impossible to try and be an independent journalist in E-Sports. Hahahahah.

Anyways is it comfirmed that MVP did it to fulfill sponsor obligations? And (like stated in my article) why would it make sense for MVP to give up his spot in WCS, especially to a teammate, who could have easily gone in his place. MVP doesn't do good at foreign events. Plain and simple. As an MVP fan, I would rather follow his progress through WCS, then watch him play half decent at IEM.

Am I alone on this thought or not?

He placed first at Blizzcon not second, he placed second at the GSL finals vs MMA also played at blizzcon

oh and won an mlg

Foreign tournys are easier. Also WCS qualifier? That's a pretty long tournament and it's pretty unsure whether or not you'll actually get anything out of it in the end. It's basically a GSL from bottom to top with less prestige and money and a tougher road.

MVP at foreign tournaments: Wins MLG Anaheim, 4th place at MLG Provedence, wins WCG, wins Blizzcon. The only foreign tournaments he has ever done poorly at are Homestory cup V where he got top 16, and MLG winter Arena 1 where he got top 24.
