no one knows if death is forever or not. life is coming and going all the time. anyways, everyone believes what he wants, and it's mostly pointless to try to convice others. From my experience its more benefical to not think much about this stuff, or the future or past - but instead accept the present moment and live now. | ||

Others believe what they have to and live with the soul-crushing weight as they distract their ways through their lives. Maybe for a day, or a week they're really happy and if they're lucky that's enough to live for and to hope for. And, yeah, you weren't alive before you were born, so it follows you won't be alive after you're dead. Therefore, death is the constant rule and life is the lie that deludes you through your brief spark of consciousness. As long as I live an otherwise relatively comfortable life, I'm okay with that in as much as I can be, as I don't expect any existence more fulfilling. Hardships, where they do come, distract you from the greater, purely emotionally destructive reality. I've felt really fuckin' bad lately. | ||

Trying to convince me that what you belive is right is about as pointless as me trying to convice you of what I belive is right. Maybe its best to end our discussion here, since its offtopic and we also don't really get much out of it. | ||

I was operating under the impression that you consider life what you are living. I don't believe it because it "sounds" logical. I believe it because its pure fucking logic. Like... I don't even know what to say. You're just wrong by absolute definition. We can observe your brain develop as a fetus and you can remember times when you were alive, and you've also felt yourself develop mentally, emotionally, over time. Obviously, nobody has been alive before they were born ( as history shows...) unless you think that you're the only real consciousness on this earth, which I can just assure you myself, you're not. | ||
