Hey Team Liquid. Lately, I've been kind of upset with the lack of user streams in the fighting game community. Much of the people who do stream have lobbies without a "character" to follow. I am willing to fill in this role if there is an audience for it. However, I do have to see if people are willing to watch a fighting game stream before I go through the hassle and set up. To make everything a little easier, I'll probably be starting out with games through Steam/WindowsLive and see where it goes from there. I'll start playing Street Fighter IV, and if many people come and watch, I'll think about investing in other fighting games for the PC to stream. I feel that this would be a good idea since there aren't many fighting game players that stream regularly, and it would also give the community a chance to grow the same way that Starcraft II is with the streaming that is going on. Please give some feedback or ideas as to how to set up the stream, and answer this poll please .

Depends on the streamed game. I would watch SSF4AE, UMvC3, or SCV. Maybe KOF13 on occasion. But I totally agree on the lack of streamed fighting games, it's sad.

I watch majors/other tournament event streams on a regular basis, but not really the individual streams of people just playing versus other players online. If you made it exciting though, something past bodying randoms online all day, you might draw a good crowd.

@itsjustatank: I totally agree with you on that, and I'm trying to see what I could do with my stream to make it not just someone playing the game. I have a lot of ideas with it, some of which involving challenges with a handicap, and since it's windows live, people watching the stream can join in for matches :D

On occasion. Most interested in SF and KOF series.
Make sure to play ranked though as people tend to get desperate a lot more, which in turn makes it more fun to watch.

Above all though, I think you should stream anyways even if it might not be popular. Do it for yourself.

You should stream melee :D More stream content is always good, try it and see if you like it. I have no clue how many viewers you will get, so I can't help you with that, but it's worth a shot.
