Artist: Tokyo Jihen (東京事変) Song: Himitsu (Secret) (秘密) Genre: jazz/rock/fusion/J-rock Awwwwww shiiiiiit is literally what I say everytime that piano hits just after 0:55. I love jazz/rock mixes. No, I don't know what the lyrics are saying, but it doens't matter since the music is sooooooo good. Shiina Ringo's interpretation is baller as fuck, and the musicians in the band know how to play. This is by far my favorite band recently and definitely in my favorite genre.  | ||

Tokyo Jihen were one of the few Japanese bands I saw while I lived there. Shiina Ringo is amazing and the band consists of some of the best musicians in Japan. When Tokyo Jihen formed, it was something of a super band. I also really like how from album to album, the band tried various types of music styles. This is one of my favorites songs: | ||
