Moved out and other jazz

DropBear Australia4273 Posts April 21 2012 03:53 GMT #1 A close friend who is doing very well for himself out of the mines up north in my state bought himself a house a few months ago and had been asking me very regularly if I wanted a cheap room so there was someone there while he was away. After a tricky last few months at home, finally I bit the bullet and moved out for the first time. Made the decision Monday and after work the next two days my whole life was moved. And I gotta say IT FEELS FUCKING AWESOME!!!!! So much freedom. So much more relaxed, more happy, it's completely reinvigorated me. I'm closer to work, friends and where I play sport, right next to a park, 45 seconds from a tavern and shops. Between us we have every musical instrument and gaming system under the sun. I used to dread getting up when I awoke, now I can't wait to get up and going each day. Bills aren't a problem, my friend is giving me mate's rates for the room and I was already paying for food, electricity and water so there hasn't been too much of a hit to the wallet. I feel so much more independent and confident. Life is good, and it's only going to get better! Incidentally and unrelated, at the gym yesterday they had Foxtel on one of the tvs and they were showing MLG. Starcraft appears to have hit proper TV stations in America now?
