I've read a few posts on TL about lucid dreaming, so for a week I've tried the various techniques. What did I find out? Well it seemed like I was awake all night; I felt myself laying there, hour after hour. Was I awake? Nope.. I even video taped myself to make sure. I was getting up fully rested but with the feeling that I was aware the entire night, maybe brain tired is the best way to describe it? I would like to visit this world of lucid dreaming again some time, I found the articles and posted experiences fascinating.
I have had one dream lately that I wanted to share, because I thought it was weird. I was laying in my bed, my wife was working a night shift and it was thunder and lightning outside (cliche right?). In my dream I "woke" up to the thunder crashing. When I did I looked over at my dresser (you know, those long ones with the mirrors in the middle?) and in the mirror were a bunch of faces looking back at me with black, almost hollowed out, eye sockets. They were just staring at me. I proceeded to turn the mirror away from the bed and against the wall, I used the washroom and went back to "bed". Same dream, I think? I went to a friends house for a few beers, while there I went in to the washroom to take a piss. When I stepped into the washroom and closed the door and turned around, the faces were in the mirror. They spoke and said "We want you to put our mirror back in your bedroom, we miss watching you sleep." At which point I woke up to reality, sat up in bed and thought "What, the, fuck?"
So that's it, my weird dream.
