So over time TL (and everywhere else, but I only go to TL) goes through waves of all kinds of people bandwagoning on something. Maybe it's elitist of me to think like this, but it's true.
In most recent memory:
Bonjwa: things like "is Nestea the new/next bonjwa?" "who will be the next bonjwa" "mc is such a bonjwa" etc. Taking a word that was reserved for the rarest of the rare, essentially a player that is far above the others they play with. Arguable examples being Boxer, Flash, etc. This was thrown around so much that nobody even takes the word seriously anymore (from what I see nowadays.)
Hurt E-Sports: for a while it seemed like everyone had an opinion on what was going to hurt/kill e-sports. be it idra's BM, everyone's non-realistic names (tyler excluded), or w/e. now i think that everyone picked up on the fact that it's a joke and not one small thing such as any of the aforementioned is going to hurt e-sports. i'm glad this one is accepted as a joke now
u gotta skate/Xx5k4t3rG0H4NxX: the newest fad, after a couple recent posts by people it seems like all of the new TLers love quoting the 25 hit wonder Xx5k4t3rG0H4NxX. i agree that it was funny (when he did it), and even now would still be funny if it wasn't spammed by every other person in every other thread.
????: any ideas what the next bandwagon fad will be? i'm hoping it might be something about "she stole my headphones" personally, but i'd like to see what you guys think.
on that note.. i just wanted to say that all of the bonjwas aren't going to hurt e-sports and Chill get out.

I must have been blessed though, I have not seen the "U gotta sk8" shit being posted here recently. Avoiding SC2 forums for the most part ftw!
People take internet meme's and jokes like radio stations take new hit songs and use them non stop until they suck, but they wont stop using them!

I read the original thread in which "u gotta sk8" was posted in and I laughed so much oh god. However because I'm fairly new (registered like in August) I don't feel like I should use it haha. So I'll just wait for the newest fad to hit TL!

This is one thing that has to be the most annoying part of this community. Luckily it isn't nearly as bad as anywhere else on the internet but it is annoying D:
The hurting esports, and the term eports in general got so obnoxious for so long. The bonjwa thing was annoying too. And the trend you gotta skate now D:
Fads are lame lol. I guess i just dont understand meme's and what the appeal with spamming them is. Tho i feel most of the responses to this OP will have one of those in it. People bandwagon too much, be original instead of pounding some internet joke into the ground until no one ever says it again because of how obnoxious it got.
This OP is what is on my mind every time i see one of these meme's pop up.
Another thing that has been annoying me are the people who HAVE to point out you gotta skate isnt new... i dont think anyone is saying it is, but it has come back and everyone is saying it, therefore it is the "newer' fad. Nightmare before Xmas was old as shit, then suddenly like a few years ago it became the trendy thing again lol. That was annoying too. Fads ftl. I guess the guys saying it is old just want to point out how long they have been on TL tho. =o Which is w/e i guess.
Wait thats the new one. Ppl will say you gotta skate - and the new meme will be, "dude thats so old, its from BW days. dont you know?" I found it out!

"Hurting esports" has been the most annoying by far! There's a few threads in SC2 general that still have it in the title- I cringe a bunch.
