Moving back.

So today I moved back to the house that I used to live till last May when I had to move because of my studies.

well its weird,its so damn weird and nostalgic and I just feel so at home right now,for the time I was gone I've never felt at home anywhere other than where I am now.

This place, its the only place I have ever felt at home since my dad died.

Its really funny how much I've changed and coming back here I can really feel how much I've changed all this while,I know its been short but my time away has been quite wild and different.

This place is where I found Teamliquid,where I lurked for 2 years and finally spending my first month as a member here,coming back here also made me realize what TL has done to me, how much TL has done for me and how much I want to thank everyone whos made my time here on TL an enjoyable one..

Going away to study really makes it feel very weird when you come back.

I slept in the same bedroom from 1988 until I graduated from high school in 2003. Going away to college was very weird, but the excitement sorta overcame that. Then I came home each summer which... was weird. Being back in my bed after being away for months was strange. Then in 2007 when I graduated I came back home. That was... even weirder. Spending most of your time away for 4 years and then coming back..... weird. A few years later I finally moved out into my own apartment and... that was even weirder yet. Changing your 'home' after being in one place your whole life is crazy when it doesn't happen until you are in your mid 20s

I envy you guys who grew up in the same home your whole life like this. Some may say it's boring but in the end it has to feel good to have a place you can truely call home isn't it? I have moved _16_ times @ 5 different cities in my 19 year old life. My parents split up when I was 9 I believe so I went back and forth all the time when I was younger too. ~_~

I will never obtain that experience sadly. I moved away from home, lived at a different place every year. My parents moved to Oregon. I lived alone for a few months in a really nice loft appt, and i think i was getting very comfortable there, almost felt like MY home, for no one else either. Then i moved back in with my parents to afford school.... and since its a different place, different stuff and all that i feel like i just moved again like i have every year for the last 3 years.

I wonder when im going to find a place i actually feel is home O.o probably this place since i am here for 4 years possibly. Who knows. Good blog ^__^

I'm studying in Australia and i go back to vietnam every summer. My first impression everytime i went back was everything was so different to what i remembered them to be. Like everything in my house seems to be alot smaller when i left a year a go. Maybe because i've grown bigger or i'm already accustomed to Australian houses
