Shit, I have two days to do this entire beginning of a Research Methods project. I need a to do a literature review and then one of the instructions said "suggest forms of data that you may need to obtain in order to answer your tentative research question. For example, you could suggest that you may need interview responses, survey responses, text from documents [...]"
I bolded that "text from documents" because last night I thought it mean just basic form of research meaning finding papers on the corporation (my go-to subject in all my papers because I know, it can be easily sensationalized and university teachers are realistic cynics about the economy and the corporations man-handling of the entire international market-world). I woke up realizing that "text from documents' is actually more like reading something from an ancient scroll that could answer your research question.
I've done research methods before back in CEGEP, so I'm not exact stupid or uninformed on what the whole class is about, I just tried to go around it thinking I could do just a normal formal paper rather than an actual topic I have to "research" or present surveys. They changed Research Methods and chopped the whole thing in half, meaning you do the literature review, you named the research methods, your hypothesis, etc. But you don't do any of it which is stupid and silly, but who am I to complain? Less work.
Any easy subjects that people can suggest? I just spent 13 minutes explaining my situation instead of finding a way to get out of it. Maybe I'll just the fucking overdone stupid topic: "SHOULD UNIFORMS BE MANDATORY IN PUBLIC HIGH-SCHOOLS HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA". The teacher will die and give me a mediocre grade, but I'm not looking to shoot for the stars in this course, so...
Trying to think of something more profound or intelligent than the entry being how stupid I am about basic instructions about a course I've already taken 2-3 years ago and knowingly feign ignorance on the matter.
Nothing's coming out.

Do something controversial yet hits close to home:
Does enforcing standardized testing on schools promote mediocrity in performance?
|
Easy subject (relevant?) subject - does/how much does the political orientation of an administration affect its financial activity (not its ideology, but what it actually does with regards to money management/financial institutions).
|
Nah, it has to be an easy subject that has a lot of documents (8 for my literature review and then it goes to 10 for the second assignment).
You guys are choosing interesting topics, not easy ones ):
An easy one is like the stupid uniform thing or how much do basic actions reduce environmental pollution? Basic actions needs a definition, environmental pollution needs defining, that's like 3 pages ez.
I'm not worried about writing it, it's just finding the papers that are relevant and you can squeeze in there as relevant or worthy or being mentioned.
Oh and I have two days... anyone else do this? Work intentionally under pressure as if it helps them?

you said YOU WERE GOING TO MAKE A BLOG ABOUT COOKING EGGS I COULD ARGUE IN. YOU LIED.
Hurry up and post 16 more times I want to see what happens.
|
Also what kind of phrasing is that
Nothing's coming out.
Poo. Was it your intent or mischief to phrase it like a constipation joke or was it a happy accident? I don't care go make a blog about eggs right now.
|
Yeah, then I woke up and saw how my paper on the Corporation that I did for Integrative Projects fucking didn't work in this.
Now I gotta rewrite and find 8 peer-reviewed documents on stupid uniforms. I can do everything really fast (2 hours) except the literature review if I put my head in the game and stop making kissing noises to Team Liquid.

Yeah, actually it was. Nothing's coming to mind would have been better and I didn't want to say "fuck this shit".
Seemed I achieved shit either way
gg no re D:

I didn't forget I still think mayo is madness. Uh.. try looking at schools with disciplinary problems or papers in relation to improving discipline. Good luck.

As far as topics, damn its so broad I don't even kno where to begin. Maybe suicide rates in Japanese students? Or the Enron energy scandal in California? Just the first two ideas that popped into my head but I'll come back if I think of another get at it torte, handle your scandal!
