EPTSo we arrived there at Chao Bistro and was not really sure what to expect. When we walked in, there was a bar area, and a woman who was polishing some of the glasses. There were stairs to the upper area of the bistro, and being underage, we went up there. We walked right into the area, and there were three people sitting there, all talking and having fancy laptop setups connected to the three large televisions on the wall. One guy had the fancy laptop setup, and he had a pretty groovy beard from what I remember. This was probably o_Oskar. Unfortunately I don't remember what the other two looked like >.<
We pulled up a table, got a few chairs, and sat down. Oskar was laughing very cordially, I think not only because he thought it odd that kids were the first people to come to a barcraft, but also because he was watching Gretorp giving Day9 a massage. We got there seemingly late, but NASL started late so we waited for about an hour before they finally started. We ordered some food, because it was about 12:00. I had the fried zergling wings, and my friend had the probes (fried tofu cubes covered in a sauce that was REALLY good
). Only one or two groups of people came in for the next few hours, and we were the only ones other than Oskar and co. who stayed through most of that. The waitress who was at the bar counter earlier was having a chat with Oskar. She was just learning starcraft through these barcrafts, and so had alot of questions about what was going on.
So eventually at about 3:00 I had to leave, as we were going on a vacation to Ashland. As I was leaving I had no idea what I was exiting from. I thought that this was a cool one time only event that would be fun to go to. I did not realize that other than Oskar and the friends he brought with him to help set up, my friend and I were the first people to ever go to a barcraft. This was a realization only just made the other day. Thank you Oskar for a wonderful time! Also If anybody could show him this that would be great!
