So close... Then ruining your will to get there

NemesysTV United States1088 Posts August 23 2011 02:38 GMT #1 Today i streamed 40 games where i went from 85 rank in masters to 30 and it has been exhausting after losing 30% of them and most of them being 1/1/1 Terrans which i am learning to defend now with phoenixes and void rays but after a while of playing for a long time i started to lose the will to play macro games as i started cheesing almost everyone after my streak. Even though im still positive in my win loss ratio but losing games for being stupid in my part is just unnecessary and i was just wondering to the TeamLiquid community if anyone else has experienced that of losing the will to play a straight up game after a long series of games to just play stupidly and gimmicky and has caused u losses and points because of it. Match History: + Show Spoiler + Beginning: Starting to get the flow of it again: Ending: So have any of you experienced this that after playing for a while you just feel like saying screw it and just try to end the game the fastest way possible? I did and it costed me from having to get 5 points for top 25 to needing to get 100... So im going to be having so much FUN playing more games i wouldnt have to if i wasnt so stupid... Finishing words: Guys don't force yourself to play games you don't want to even if you think " I gotta get to this rank right now and ill do anything for it " Just wait trust me it'll help out in the long run, don't be gimmicky as it might end up costing you many many points and just make your status worse... Sorry to Nucleotide for attempting to play the worst way possible for you and possibly making you angry for winning that way, but in the end you ended up winning... gaining points... self esteem... but at the end i'm the one who really lost in both ways... I lost points ... getting so close to top 25 in masters... So sorry if i made you mad even though u won by thinking that i was playing stupidly and that the game vs me was a waste of time... TL:DR: Has anyone experienced that when you play a long series of games you lose the will to playing regular games? That you want to finish the game as soon as possible even if you know your going to lose? What have you lost due to that? Well it has happened to me today and guys dont let it happen to you i have destroyed my will to play today any longer and most importantly lost me points and getting to top 25 in masters from 85 in masters in a day... will not happen today...
