Their early encounters were sparse. A quick defeat in the Daum OSL. Flash lost basically to zerglings, which is not something to be ashamed of. NaDa has lost to YellOw's zerglings before, and Boxer as well. More recently, Flash has lost to Jaedong's zerglings quite rapidly in the last BW WCG Korea. So losing to sAviOr in 2007; well, there's always another day.
And so Flash got a chance to show his own set of skills in their infamous battle on Baekmagoji. Flash's mechanic took control of the game as he still does today. His economy-backed tanks are an inevitable force of the exploded hydralisk, lurker, ultralisk, and any other alien carcasses.
I will try to produce an audio Tasteless quote from memory: "but I also believe sAviOr violently misplayed that game." This might be true, but partly because the solution wasn't really understood. Flash's style intersected with sAviOr's at strange places. The traps that he might set against lesser Terrans had no place in this game. Tank splash cannot be befuddled by expert maneuvering or dark swarms.
Around the time sAviOr was playing probably his last respectable games, his 9 win streak at the beginning of 2009, this article appeared reporting that sAviOr and Flash had encountered each other anonymously on iCCup and played apparently epic games on Colo and Andromeda. Flash thought he was playing Jaedong, sAviOr thought he was playing Sea or Flash. Flash lost.
After that they had their silly one-sided game in PL all-stars where Flash went one base and used some nukes. But due to a BM overlord mindgame, Flash nuked part of his own army. Also, he lost a ghost to some drones. While it's true neither probably took it seriously, I think Flash expected his strategy to do a little better than it did. Later they met twice in late 2009 PL rounds, but the games were unremarkable and sAviOr seemed unable to keep up. I don't recommend doing this because it puts suspicion on lots of games, but I think the games sAviOr went crazy zerg on - if any games were thrown, it would be these (he did it on FS vs Flash and on HBR vs Sea, losing both).
So it seems like we got robbed of a potential brilliant encounter. Recently I noticed something called MBC Skins All-Star in TLPD, probably only recently TLPD-ized. I also read its LR threads. It's like OGN revenge van, but all Bo7s. go.go and 910 (7-0. I sympathize, who on earth is 910 and what is he doing in an all-star league?). Xellos and Reach. Anytime and Bisu. Free and Sea. Hwasin and stork. sAviOr and Sea. sAviOr and Flash. sAviOr and Flash played a Bo7 in 2008. *catches breath*
My logical induction tells me that if I didn't know about this, other people might also be in the dark. This is an intolerable situation. Prizes started at 100k won ($100) for the first game and got incremented 100k every game except the last, which is 900k won. 3 game streaks are 500k; 5 game, 1000k, 7 game, 2000k. Bo7 all games played (i.e., 7-0 possible).

Here was the LR, you can't* find results but I don't recommend looking at them when you can watch the VODs. Even if you just watch 1 game a day for a week.
