EPTPrologue (What an Interesting Year) Part 1
Lets start from the beginning of the weirdest year of my life. It was my senior year of high school and I was a 2-3 months away for graduating . I didn't play any sports, all I did was go home, get on my computer, start up vent and hang out with people. Most of the time it was just three maybe four of us just talking about the video games. One night we were just hanging out, I was playing Dragon Age: Origins while talking to my friends about how Morrigan was so hot. Then all of a sudden someone joins are change. We thought it was just some random person lurking. So we ignore them and continue talking. I make a statement about DA:O and the person asks me how is it. It turns out to be a girl(lets call her Ka). I tell Ka it's an amazing game and I go back to playing. She keeps on talking about random shit and me and my friends just start make fun of her accent. She tells us she lived in Sweden and that she couldn't help it. We kept making Swedish jokes, that to be honest weren't funny what's so ever. Over time while everyone else just started to befriend her I just kept making fun of her, because in my mind all girl gamers were just a joke. Once everyone logged of to go to bed I decided to continue playing DA:O. I was in the channel alone just playing my game until I hear someone joined the server, then my channel, it was Ka.
She starts to talk to me again. I decide to humor her and listen. She starts to tell me I have a cute voice. I tell her thanks, then tell her to grab me some Swedish fish.(I told you these were stupid jokes) She tries to flirt with me but I'm oblivious to it all because I've never been flirted with(that I know of) So I continue to make fun of her for her bad English(I don't have room to talk
) and stuff. This happens almost every night for the next 2 weeks. I would playing games while she just talked to me about the most random shit. One night we're all talking and she asks me if we could be alone. I say sure and she tells me she has a crush on me. I was kind of shocked I really didn't know what to say because I've never been told that, so all I say is, "why?" She tells me I'm super funny and that I had a great sense of humor. I decided to go with it and tell her I have a crush on her to, she was super happy. So a few nights go by and one day the admin forgets to pay for vent. She asks if I wanted to use Skype. I say, "sure." Ka started to ask if I wanted to share pictures with her, I said, "sure, why not." She sends me a phone of her. Ka was a short,average weight, pale girl, with dark red hair. She was really pretty, but I promised myself I would never get attached. I show her a picture of me hanging out with my friends and she just repeatedly calls me beautiful.
We continue to talk and I learn about what happened in her life and it's really depressing. I start to feel bad for her and some feeling start to show. We continue to talk and one night she tells me she's in love with me. I was mind blown by this and told her she didn't really mean that. She begins to cry and left. I started to feel bad for what I said, but I felt it had to be said because long distance relationships really never worked. I saw she was talking to my buddies and I asked to talk to her and she was still sad. I told her that I didn't have those feeling "yet" and then she started to get happier again. After a few days I stay that I love her to and we decide to try to make it work.
