I've been losing a real lot lately and haven't really enjoyed starcraft whatsoever. Though this may be only recently, playing the game seems far more stressful than will ever be fun. I do enjoy watching starcraft matches and all, but I may have to settle playing another game for now.
I play Zerg and it's just far too fragile early game imo. I'm not making excuses however, I have played a lot of protoss and some terran too, I just enjoy the mobility of zerg and scouting. Im about rank 25 in plat, and I have gone on a [Massive] losing streak.
The game feels like a job instead of fun. I will still play every now and then, but as of right now, I either have to practice strictly or just step back from it for a while. I guess we'll see how things go..

Its not surprising. the pizazz of SC2 was removed bit by bit

It tends to go back and forth. I'll go on long winning streaks for a while, then go on losing streak as my MMR gets bumped up, then win games again, then lose, etc.
I totally understand how you feel, though, lol.

When I get frustrated because of losing I tend to do random, unplanned things when playing which fail miserably, causing me to lose more. Normally I find taking a one or two day break really helps my game. I come back with better ideas and focus.
Don't just quit man, try taking a break for a while. Seriously though, quit if you're still not having fun after a break, it should be fun, it is a game.

It truly depends on your mindset at the point you're at right now. You should focus on the things you like about the game, rather than winning/losing. For me I like getting down to the nitty gritty and executing very precise timing attacks and experimenting to make them better. It really gets rough when you focus only on winning/losing because you start only viewing yourself as a bunch of numbers.
Focus on the process, not the result

I see what you did there. Very Very clever.

Dude, I have totally been there. It is just a matter of stepping back a bit, I have become a huge spectator but what I really enjoy is going back and forth. You should just take a break and don't get stressed out about it. As a fellow loss streak compatriot, just do whatever you actually enjoy and be real about it. If you aren't looking to be a pro then take a break if you aren't having fun.
Hell dude I even went back to playing TF2 competitively. It is all just about what you want to do, and don't push yourself during your free entertainment time because that ruins it.

Im with you man. To me its boring and not fun to practice. Attempting to even play enough to stay in grandmaster for me is like the biggest struggle even though its easy and just requires around a dozen games a week. I barely enjoy watching the game as well but its just hard to quit something you have put so much time into.

yea im not gonna like cold turkey quit lol, just may take a break. been playing around with terran but im terrible with it lol xD

If you're playing to be a winner then when you hit walls you have to push through them. Focus on striving to improve and you'll improve.
If you're not playing to be a winner then bleh who cares just have fun.
Also, if you are playing to be a winner then the game can definitely feel like a job. You just have to have the right attitude about it. It can feel like a job and still be fun. Enjoy striving for perfection!
