I'm not really sure where to put this, so I decided to blog it. Mods, if this isn't the right place, I apologize.
Anyway, I felt like recording some videos of myself playing random games (Notably: Rosenkreuzstilette and Megaman Rush to battle, notably the latter) but I can't seem to record the audio from my video =(
Basically, I'm using camstudio, but everytime I record, there's always no audio. I don't have a mic, so I'm trying to record from speakers, but I always get a certain error, tried googling for fixes but still no go, so I'm pretty much about to give up on this.
So I ask the knowledgeable TL people, what recording software do you use? Can you record it straight from your own speakers (no more additional jacks aside from your speaker to the back of the computer)

yep, it's recorded straight from my whatever my speakers will project out.. it's really good..
the trial version of that VAC software is indeed a little irritating, which occasionally (every 6seconds interval) will sprout the "Trial" sound..
edit: i remeber i using Camtasia to record SC:BW, and there's sound.. probably you might want to see your settings
