Disclaimer: This blog is about my trip to Seoul during summer 2010. I've meaning to share with you guys but been busy/lazy. ^__^
Whenever I visit Korea I usually stay in Gyeongju, which is about 4~5 hours south from Seoul, since most of my family live there. Last winter, I made my way up to Seoul for the sole purpose of going to a proleague game/watching stork play. This past summer, I made my way up to Seoul again but to hang out/party with some of my friends who were also in Korea at the time. However, series of unexpected events led me back to proleague scene in Seoul...
Last Time

THE NEXT DAY, I woke up here:

Dragon Hill Spa in Yongshan which has a lounge area where you can sleep over night.
After we sobered up the next day, we decided to check out the mall right next door called "I'Park." Yongsan and I'Park sounded so familar, but I didn't know why at first... then everything made sense! YONGSAN I'PARK STADIUM!!!!! Although there was no event going on, we decided to check it out and what do you know... the stadium was open and unattended hehehe....

OH HAI STORK!

randomly walked into action few days later. i stopped him in the middle of street and started talking to him lol. this was the day before he played jaedong in osl ro8, so i gave him a little motivational speech with something along the line of: i admire how hardworking you are (i remembered reading something from TL that he only slept like 4 hours a day) and there are a lot of fans cheering for you overseas so do well against jaedong.
...and that didn't do anything as he got 2-0ed by jaedong the next day
Few things you might be wondering:
- the gaming booth doesn't smell that great. think of a dry smell of electronics/appliances
- yes, i did get kicked out. after this picture was taken

- I meant GSL as in Gatorade Star League if you haven't figured it out already. It was the only thing that I had which closestly resembled a trophy. Thus, GSL :D
- bisu and baby played earlier that day for WCG Korea, and they had their matches playing on the big screen when we got there. It was a nice coincidence I must say hehe.
