let b_n and z_n be the number of b-lings and z-lings of the nth generation. inspection shows that if z_i - b_i > 0, then z_n - b_n is an unbounded monotone sequence as n grows. thus, we make our induction on the stronger assumption that z_n <= b_n. (this surely satisfies that z_n <= 2*b_n, since b_n < 2*b_n.) hypothesis: if z_n <= b_n, then z_n+1 <= b_n+1. prove that and you're done. you can rewrite it as b_n - z_n > 0. (there is a slight nuance if the difference is odd or even)

Anyhow, it is easy to show that: The number of zlings after n+1 cycles is 200+600*2^n The number of blings after n cycles is 200+600*2^n

Anyhow, it is easy to show that: The number of zlings after n+1 cycles is 200+600*2^n The number of blings after n cycles is 200+600*2^n 2nd generation 200 zlings mate with 200 blings = 200 zlings and 200 blings 600 blings left over, so 300 pairs = 600 blings and 300 zlings. total = 500 zlings and 800 blings, your formula doesn't work

Answer not possible, 200z-lings and 800 b-lings are past the 200 supply limit cap. GG If he would give +1 point and not mark you incorrect...lmao Awesome Teacher

[edit] But if you see this on a test, you should write "You require more O-lords".
