but ya man, from advice from higher level players, a big key to improving from c- is to just tighten up your game - its usually not just a few big mistakes costing u games, but the addition of a bunch of small things - ie, idle workers, macro slippage, missing supplies, etc... all that shit adds up!

My goal is to hit C- as well, though I want to do it legitimately.
Got to 2700 and reset, though hopefully I can find the time to one day hit the bit 3k. See you there soon haha.

I think if I played protoss I can get to C-. I got to D+ with toss and a record of about 13-5 and my terran account is around 31-37 D+. Grats man, ICCup is hard and Koreans are scary!

Congrats. I still haven't reached C- but it's encouraging to hear that improving from there onwards is a slightly easier endeavor.
I have a question though for people who had a lot of trouble advancing from D+ to C-. Did you figure out something significant that was previously lacking in your play from when you were D+ compared to when you reached C-? Or was it just through improving your mechanics and decision making after months, maybe years, of practice?

I learned alot more about what to look for when scouting and also fine tuning my build orders. ZvT was the hardest thing to get down, Learning to use the defiler and teching to it really quickly rly upped my win ratio. There are so many little things you learn that stack up 2. Hmm makes me miss SC a little but w/e Sc2 all the way

same here I got incredibly excited when I got to C- my goal for season 12 ^^
and apparentlty it is so big of an achievement for the average noob that it made news among my girlfriend's friends.
