I've been thinking about looking into purchasing some of the tight under armor gear. I've seen a few friends wearing it at soccer and hockey so I figured I'd throw it out to TL and see if anyone has any positive or negative personal experience using it and what benefits using it could bring me.
Thanks kcaz

Thanks for all the feedback guys, really helped me make a decision. I ended up picking up one of the fitted t-shirts and really like how it looked and felt. So now one more question, I play ball hockey and indoor/outdoor soccer, what other UA products would you recommend me trying next?

My friend swears by it when he goes to the gym, and he's a gym-rat if that's worth any thing

Never seen it or heard about it before going to the US, but there is seems like a decent brand.
Don't use it if you're scrawny. Looks bad.

Its amazing it will keep you warm as hell on cold days and during the summer time it helps wick the sweat away helping to keep you cool. If youre also worried about looks just toss on a T-Shirt.
i play tennis with UA and it really does help wick sweat away as long as the air around you isn't 100% humidity. in the right weather, it works really well. the prices are decent too, and you can pick it up for real cheap and department stores during sales.
get it but go off brand, the under armour brand is outrageously priced
id recommend it for hockey but not soccer in the summer, its mostly used for cold weather imo
My brother's an athletic type and he loves that shit. He wears it around the house sometimes. If you can afford it, then go for it.
It will definitely help you in those sweaty late-game moments.
I use it when im playing soccer, I like it, comfortable and it helps.
What does it do? Just absorb the sweat? Doesn't it make you sweat more because you are wearing more clothes?
I play golf, and I used the one for cold weather.
It definitely works. I've played round of golf in 40~50 degrees with underarmour and a T-Shirt on. I've never felt cold during the round. Sometimes, I even started to feel too warm during some rounds.
I'm not too sure about the ones you wear in summer, as I've wore it only once. But damn, it works alright.

I have UA longsleeves for long distance running in the winter. IT'S SO WORTH IT!! Seriously I think I would die without those long sleeves.
No benefit imo. Makes you look beefy if you have that kind of build, accentuates the biceps. I wear them under the jersey for baseball but honestly I don't find them comfortable or more helpful then a regular long sleeve shirt. Maybe if your distance running but they are expensive as fuck too. I use it but I would say resist the peer pressure
UA is nice, but i don't wear it. UA looks really nice if you're muscular. i'm a stocky build so it would look good on me, but i just love rocking a normal white tank top.

the cold gear is good if you play sports outside in the winter
I love underarmor, it's great for running specially during the winter.
they're kind of overrated
not miracle gear, so think twice about what you buy
overpriced, makes you look like a bit of a wanker. The cold gear is good, but get off brand.
