I might have said this to you before on a different song but your voice reminds me so much of Tragically Hip. It's good. Was it you with the firefly song that people said your voice was bad? If so, they're wrong.

Yeah, theres something I can't put my finger on. Just kinda the tone I guess. You sing quite a bit lower than that guy though.

heh, when I do my own acoustic stuff I actually usually sing higher than in the SC2 songs I've done. Often about as high as I can get without using falsetto (which isn't very high though :p)

I'm admittedly kinda jealous of people with slightly higher voices. Usually I can just do that high E. I just want that G and I'd be happy

That's the plan...I'm having serious problems with getting stuff done though cause when I do serious songs I want everything to be perfect and I never manage to do that ^^
But it's not like this isnt my "real" voice :p it doesnt sound too different in any of my real songs, I think this recording is pretty representative, more so than abuseful day/the fireflies song.
But a week ago I met an old friend at a party who offered to produce me so maybe I'll just work with him as soon as I have 5,6 songs I'm really comfortable with.
