I knew Mai-K when I was a ladder admin.
I've known Mai-K since like before he was an admin or right around the time he became one. He is actually pretty cool.
I think he's kind of like ICCup's strict parent. As long as you are polite and respectful he is pretty reasonable and will be polite/respectful in return. However if you are bm/disrespectful towards him or other people he will take shit from no one.

Wow, I only saw one of those. The one that was posted in ICCup's general forum. He also made one in the Complaint about an admin forum. That ban makes sense. If someone were to make three threads in three different forum sections on TL to complain about a TL Admin/Mod that person would surely be banned too.

Even though I don't really side with the OP based on attitude, it IS undeniably silly how the rules basically state that you can't ever speak badly about the admins. Trying to excuse yourselves from criticism by stating it as a bannable offense with a zero-tolerance policy is in fact, retarded by the standards of anyone worth letting live.

To be fair, I banned him for unpausing while I was tabbed out, not for disconnecting. Speaking of, I should check if he reregistered...

You should try to insult the admins here and come talk to me in 2 days to 2 weeks and let me know how that worked out.
Those ladder admins work their asses off (we get 100's of complaints for games not recording and such a day), for nothing. If you have a legit complaint and present it in a reasonable way I am sure they will actually listen. But going "OMG YOU GUYS ARE IDIOTS, FUCK YOU!" will never end well....

I respect that the iccup crew does a lot of work, but reading the forums and some of the reasoning I get this kafkian feeling that I just cant shake.

This has absolutely zero bearing on what I said. At all. Even in the least. Its STILL silly that anybody at all in the whole god damn world thinks they should just be free from ridicule ever because of what they do. Nobody, and I really do mean NOBODY does that much that they should just be that fucking revered. You're not gods, we don't owe you our lives so stop acting like it. I don't care if you're an admin here, or anywhere else. Hell, I was an admin on sirenffxi.com and I was an admin for bluegartr site and allakhazam too. The attitude exists everywhere and its just plain stupid.
The whole "YOU GUYS R IDIOTS" or "YOU FAGS NEED 2 LERN 2 ADMIN" of course they should be stomped, but if you construct a decently argument against an admin's decision, its still met with a "holier-than-thou" attitude. That kind of mentality makes it easier to have people dislike you guys. You're no better than the people you claim to be hating because you just shoot everyone down like they're somehow below you.
