Obviously I entered into this tournament of luck and danger. A 1/20 chance of hope a 19/20 chance of death...
I died.
I just thought I would share a bit of my experience as one of the temp bans on page 1 of the dreaded beta roulette.
If I had the chance to go back, I would NOT have entered this tourney. 2 weeks is a lot longer to an active TL poster than it seems. I use the sc2 tourney section quite frequently and when not being able to post in the tourney section keeps you from joining tournies...life is hard.
Constantly I was begging people I knew, please, please sign me up for this or that. Luckily craftcup has a signup on their website as well or I dont think I would of gotten to play in any events at all that I wasnt already signed up for.
I have to say being banned from TL definatly was a bigger deal for me that I thought it would be. I figured with 19/20 chance of being banned it was bound to happen (especially since I already had the beta, I was trying to get a key for my little brother). Having the 2 week temp ban is definatly going to stop me from doing stuff like this in the future. I would advice the rest of you to follow suit.

I was another one of the idiots who participated in this contest. Somehow I read the rules, but missed rule 3 that said I would get banned if I didn't win. Next time a contest comes up I will not quickly skim through the rules. I was trying to get a key for a friend of a friend who I only talked to like 5 times on vent.
The 2 week ban was so hard for me. I usually make a lot of posts on TL. I am proud to say that I took the ban like a man and didnt try to make an alternate account.

Ya, I won one in that contest. I also won a facebook contest, and a youtube contest. I was greedy and wanted to win 4 keys in one week lol.

I've had beta for the entire time beta has been out pretty much. I was trying to get one for my little brother. Much to my dismay, 2 days later I got a friend invite in my email, bottom line, the ban was in vain.

Same here. Actually I was going to request a self-ban at some point and I always thought "meh, two weeks without posting on TL doesn't matter at all" but holy god damn that was a hard two weeks
