Suddently I have this urge to play Metal Slug Series, nostalgic games that I played in arcades. However, a short search on emulators on NeoGeo revealed RAGEx which shut down its site. I'm just asking for help in which emulator I should use and using it. Thanks guys. EDIT: I tried MAME some times ago but it didn't work for me =/  | ||

all you have to do correctly is, designate the directory of roms and make sure the roms you downloaded are full, if they are in parts just drag them into eachother, or extract in the same folder. also arcade cabs are cheap(well depending on location) I see neo geos for 500$ on craigslist all the time | ||

Yayaya... long gone on my HD but I definitely remember playing Metal Slug on PC though emulator. So uh..... it's possible! That's all I can tell ya. Wat a tease. | ||

Remember that for Neo Geo game emulation, you need the ROM of the game as well as "neogeo.zip" for the game to run. P.S. for MAME, you need to get a ROM version that is compatible with the version of MAME you're using. Every once in awhile, if you upgrade MAME, you need to update ROMs as well or they will not run. Again, MAME might not be your best option anyway. | ||
