Broken Bells - Broken Bells
Broken Bells is an American indie rock band featuring Danger Mouse and James Mercer, the lead vocalist and guitarist for The Shins. This is pretty interesting. I LOVED what Danger Mouse did with Gorillaz and it's interesting to see him trying new directions

Lostprophets - The Betrayed
I find it hard to describe this album, it's all over the place. Some great speedy tracks mixed with ballads. I find that the album starts great but gets stale near the end. Nonetheless I've been listening to this a lot and it deserves recognition

Kashiwa Daisuke - Program Music I
I love this album. The way this guy mixed electronic sounds with classic instruments is incredible. Consider this a mix of classical and electronic music. This album only has 2 songs, but they are about 35-40minutes long. Here is the first 10 minutes of the first one

A Wilhelm Scream - Career Suicide
One of my favorite punk rock albums in the last few years. This is their first album with their new bassist and wow this guy is good.

Streelight Manifesto - Somewhere in the between
Best ska band ever. I saw them live and it was incredible. I love fast ska and this is pretty much close to the fastest you'll ever see

Hip Hop
Prime Ape Got the Blues - It's not easy being a digital being
This album is awesome. Unfortunately it's hard to find. I like how they use some kind of 8bit samples in their songs
