Good looks = good person good at everything subconsciously. Yes. This is one of the best ways (if not the best) to generally improve yourself. Have you ever noticed that you seem to be a lot more confident and outgoing if you're simply wearing nicer clothes, styled hair, things as simple as that.

Everyone has their own definition of being sociable. Most people think its about hanging out with others and being easy to talk to. I for example, don't have any friends (I don't want to), and I think being sociable is trying to help society as a whole to improve, and I'm not above helping so I consider myself sociable.

I think that trying to measure success on an empirical level is useful to professionals and employers, but rather insulting on an individual level.
I measure success based on how eccentric I'm allowed to be in a given social situation. If I have to conform strictly to other people's notions of attractiveness, I feel sad and trapped. If I can wear a pillow on my head and a cape among friends, I know I have their hearts.
Does it mean having a lot of friends on facebook, having a lot of friends at school, not having a lot of friends but few close ones, being a suck up, etc.?
It means can you talk to people without making them feel uncomfortable. If you're only sociable among close friends, then that's probably something they'd be concerned about. They want you to be able to talk to other professionals, work in groups, and generally just be likable on a level of acquaintance. That's what I think I'd want to know if I were interviewing someone and asked that.

I think they're trying to probe you past your academic, individual achievements and trying to see how you relate on a more macro level. While grades, stats, etc. certainly say a lot about you as a person, your socialization with people definitely says a lot too - this can mean possible community projects you're involved in, clubs, sports teams, down to the time you spend with your family - the things you do with other people whoever they may be, because these activities also say a lot in defining you as a person.

people who are awkward socially are the ones who give a shit. i dunno..like they talk to you and they expect a certain reaction, theyll be really quiet and in their head or they wont do shit without your approval
