Vegas Trip~~

I'm planning on a Vegas trip at the end of this month or beginning of march...3 nights and 4 days
Can anyone recommand me good hotels/things to do/clubs to go to/must see places?
I'm paying for my flight and hotel and my gf paying for her flight and expenses like shows/foods/drinks/car.

please share your experience

I'm looking to spend about ~$800 (flight+hotel)

Any nice hotel will run you 150-250$ a night depending on where you stay. Go to Tao nightclub at the Venetian that's where everyone who comes to Vegas tends to go. Also check out XS nightclub also if you can at the encore/wynn. Go see mystere or any cirque du soliel show on the strip if you want to see any shows.

well she's not sure if she can go...cuz she is so god damn busy
but i'm going regardless lol

if i don't go with my gf...i'll get some cheap hotel and spend money on partying

$800 is not a lot of money if its flight + hotel for 4 days. I would go on a weekday if you can as weekday hotel rates are much lower. I don't know how much your flight will cost but I'll assume like $200 so that leaves you $600 for 4 days or $150 per day. I assume you are sharing a room.

Even on weekdays, top hotels like Encore, Wynn, Bellagio will run $150 to $200. Assuming $150 a day, thats $75 out of your daily budget assuming you are sharing a room. that leaves you $75 for 3 meals and other entertainment costs which is not a lot. You have to factor in costs of cabs taking you around, etc...

Most vegas show tickets are $80 to $150 (cirque du soleil etc) depending on where in the theatre you sit. I am a fan of Ka and O. Ka is more action and story, O is a bit more water and bit more artistic.

I would seriously reconsider your budget and would shoot for a cheaper hotel though. You're not going to spend that much time in your room anyways and most of the 2nd or even 3rd tier hotels are ok.

A small step below Encore, Wynn, Bellagio, Cesars would be Palazzo/venetian. Still not cheap there, maybe $140 a night.

Then below that would be Mirage/MGM/Palms/mandalay bay at about $100 to $110, you might find a deal sometimes where you can grb something for $90.

Then Bally's, Luxor, Paris, NYNY, circus circus willbe in the $80 range

then Imperial Palace, excalibur will be about $60 to $70.

you can go off strip for even cheaper but then cab fare evens it out and some of the off strip hotels are really crappy.

But yeah I would seriously rebudget.

Good budget eats would be the $6.99 steak special at ellis Island. Its a steak, potato, vegetable, salad, and a microbrewed beer for $6.99. There's other value options like hash house a go go etc....

I would save on food for like 3 days then have one baller meal at a top restaurant. There are many ridiculously awesome restaurants in vegas depending on cuisine.

Clubbing will be very expensive. at a top club like XS , you are looking at $20 - $30 cover + $15 drinks. So unless if you really like the club atmosphere, I would not recommend it. besides, going to a club with just your GF is not going to be that much fun anyways.
