1.You had superior positioning and could have probably crushed his natural and army, but then for some reason you unsieged and tried to kill his second expansion, and lost your entire army without inflicting any damage. I don't really get the rational behind this.
2. He never recalled his army into your mostly undefended main. His mass of arbiters and archons were sitting next to your cliff with no turrets about half a screen away. He never poked an observer to see what was there.
