Just a short question, is it possible to remove text from replays?-_-; Would be really cool since for movies etc sometimes there's a lot of chat in the scenes.. etc;

If anyone got a way of removing the text, help me please.

Pretty sure the game just crashes if you try Nyte. Other than that, I remember there was lots of replay commands added by Blizzard a while back, don't think any of them were to turn the replay text off tho.

Someone was a doing a school project recently where he used a program to extract all the text from the replays.

I am sure there may be a way to make a program to either remove or manipulate replay text.
I would be surprised if it didnt already exist. =)

Only way I know you can do this is to start your sc with AdvLoader v2.3 then when games starts press Ctrl+D and it disables the chat while watching replay.

Replay text is a double-edged sword... on one hand, it is great, because you can see what the players were talking about; on the other hand, it is fucking awful, because sometimes in obs replays you can't watch the action because they're talking so much... and also it leads to ppl getting banned for bm on iccup, that's not replay's fault though, but iccup being fucked up.....

If you pause the replay with text on the screen, the text will fade out after the alloted time.
If your making a moving you could always go frame by frame like so
