Hello, so finally I took the plunge into the world of Iccup (no pun) after spending most of my starcraft time watching VODs and lurking around in konadora's chatbox.
So far I've been trying to concentrate on TvP on Destination but after a while getting sick of the matchup and trying TvZ and TvT. The beginning of the season I matched people ranging from twice my apm to 1/4 or so. Nonetheless, about 60 games on i've finally reached >1800 points for the first time in my life (*cheers*)
At this point I've managed to learn a few builds thanks to stylish (fantasy, mech, 2fac vult TvT, 5fac push) and a bunch of SC players from malaysia who frequent garena. Artosis's 2 fac build also netted me a couple wins (i lost to a reaver build but i guess i know roughly how to stop that by adding ebay+academy if i spot a low goon count)
Would guess that the goal would be to get to D+ and stay there ^_^ Am still having great trouble in TvP but am slowly improving. Any other comments and advice would be very much appreciated.

nice to see another singaporean get into iccup. hang out in the channel op irc, and sometimes you might catch darkrocket, konadora or me around. i'd comment on your replay, but i don't play tvt and don't wanna give you bad advice.

your attack with the initial army was crap. you had 4 tanks and 4 rines, and you managed to lose 2 or 3 tanks to his 4 goons. you even had an SCV scouting out the way, and after you lost it you still sent your army streaming into his 4 goons. group up your army before you attack. if you microed properly, you'd have raped his goons easily if he decided to engage. he'd most likely have retreated up the ramp, in which case you just plant mines at his nat and take your own nat while retreating your force or contain him, and get more tanks + turrets back at your main before expanding.
