Whining on ICCup

So after various forms of interesting verbal abuse for standard play I decide that maybe that's the wrong way to play on iccup.

So I play a PvZ on python where I make 2gates in my natural:
4:08 - NeT.brandon: ur so fucking cheesy
4:13 - Nytefish: play to win
4:16 - NeT.brandon: your a newb
4:21 - Nytefish: says the loser
4:29 - NeT.brandon: w/e newb

I attempt to make him explain why he would call me a newb but he dismisses it and ragequits. Perhaps I was a little abrasive.

Next it's a PvT on heartbreak, upon joining the game and selecting my race I'm greeted with "protoss... typical". I figure that perhaps it's the unexpected nature of cheese that makes it so strong, so I decide to declare my intentions:
0:19 - Nytefish: gpnna proxy gate you
0:24 - SpruceChess: standard
0:45 - Nytefish: actually nvm dt drop
0:59 - Nytefish: want me to proxy the tech or not?

I guess it backfired a bit, this Terran really didn't want to be cheesed so he stole my gas.


But I'm a man of my word so I proceed to do it anyway.


Forget the complete failure to defend DTs despite being warned, if you're playing on an imbalanced map all losses are the map's fault.

The Lesson
- A day of iccup will get you and your mother raped in the arse.
- DTs are unfair.

Now for once we have a guy who doesn't complain about cheese, however in this case that's because the perpetrator of the dairy curd happens to be him.

The Game
It begins as a standard PvZ on Destination. After scouting no lair, 3hatch on 2 base, I get a little suspicious.



This is soon followed by:

9:28 - Nytefish: lol
9:30 - Nytefish: what do you expect
9:31 - Nytefish: no 3rd

He didn't reply so I assumed my explanation was adequate. After a few minutes he decides the course of the game is still not to his liking:

14:50 - [RS6]: ^^
14:53 - Nytefish: so?
14:54 - Nytefish: win..
14:58 - [RS6]: yea
15:01 - [RS6]: but its lame
15:03 - Nytefish: so

15:14 - [RS6]: no fun to play

15:18 - [RS6]: make me mad

The camping he's complaining about is that I refused to attack into this without obs.


It's not long before I mine out the mineral in the back and simply walk round his contain, he leaves the game with one final quip.


It seems he is unable to read numbers, this probably accounts for his poor understanding of the game. If in fact he wasn't talking about his resources but the amount of warts on his genitalia then I apologize and agree that it would be no fun.

The Lesson
- Do not defend cheese or you are a camper.
- If you wait until you have enough to break a lurker contain, you are a camper.

The Game
PvT on python, starts off as usual, scouting after gateway finds Terran on the first try.



My probetard is pretty chuffed he managed to kill one of those big bad black SCVs but immediately after is popped from behind by an even bigger, meaner one.

At this point I realise I have no clue what the Terran will do, so I decide to 2gate goon pressure to get some information.



However he loses his scout SCV almost instantly (and I still don't know what he's doing) so I decide "why not DT drop?" and cancel the range upgrade.



Unfortunately for him he placed turrets to stop reaver and was too slow in making one near his SCVs.



I was expecting a ragequit but he turns out to be quite vocal about his distastes for various types of people:

Although it was the standard racist homophobic behaviour, I had finally found a talker and to further understand him I continued to egg him on.

Although I was trying to impart whatever knowledge I had about the win/loss system, he didn't seem very receptive.

Anyway he was still playing so I thought his only way to come back would be drop play and did the standard counter.

I wanted to know why standard macro play was the only fair way to win but all he could tell me was that I lacked testicles.

The Lesson
- Canadians and homosexuals are bad at Starcraft.
- If someone DT rushes you, your macro game is immediately better than theirs, no exceptions.
