Was messing around on Us West and played a pretty nice game against some korean using chaos. Its TvZ and shows the hilarious power of suprise wraith switches. Builds like this used to be common in the midas era but they are super easy to counter so they fell out of prominence as pro level zergs have way to good of timing to ever lose to something like this. Luckily this zerg never took a look inside my main in the mid game;) C+ish level game. Hope you are at least mildly amused.

haha, will have to try this when iccup starts up again. Will get some nice wins at D level with this.

Heh well keep in mind, being at least somewhat successful with your intitial mnm attacks is fairly important for this to ever hope to work. Because I was able to trade mnm for lurks it kept him on defensive lurk mode for longer instead of working on ending the game sooner.

Can't this tech switch still be effective late game when they are on ultra ling mode?

Naw when they are in full ultra mode you're going to just get run over. You need to cripple them before they get their ultras out. But I guess it just depends on the game.

That Zerg got his 3rd gas and also his tech so late >.<. I think he might've stood a chance if he just got defiler and tried to run over your base (probably not). I think you were winning since almost the beginning since he didn't really do much damage with his mutas coupled with the fact that he never took his 3rd gas while using his lair tech.

You know, he began his Hive at 15 min. mark, on top of that his 3rd was ready at ~15 min. Basically he suffered econ defeat so anything would kill him at this moment

Really good idea though, it can catch by surprise and well - wraiths always are annoying with their mobility and cloack
