When you're going through hell, just keep going.
It's been tough going through what I've been going through, trying to balance my studies, day job, and so on with casting, especially given the fact that what I have done is purely on a volunteer basis.
I have to remind myself of what I I want to do: Go back and meet great players, maybe speak a few words to Startale_Miss, GamaniaYoYo, YoeIMHui, and so on with my own vocal cords. I have the linguistic capability.
I also look to the past for inspiration as well: My Halo 2 days. Being in a tournament and winning first prize after a grueling 10 hours of nothing but taking turns and waiting for your name to be called. That feeling when you're behind, trying to catch up, and the adrenaline in your body is flowing so hard that you can feel your heart beating in to your neck.
Those were the days.
On a side-note, I kicked on my stream and started asking my fan base to help me learn Chinese. I got some 30-something volunteers.
Got to summoner level 13 today in LoL, and I have 25 Dollars worth of free (I didn't pay for them, basically a christmas gift) riot points on the way.
And, yes, I must confess, I got choked up watching Startale Miss crying in her interview with the TESL reporter. Such is the beauty of being able to understand someone else in a different language.
Before I go to bed and wake up in 5 hours, I just wanted to say thanks to all of my supporters on TL.net!
